Carefree Super-Activated Zeolite™ is an ion exchange resin that may be recharged and reused several times by adding Salt (see instructions for use). An all natural product, our Zeolite™ absorbs and binds ammonia build-up, and absorbs 2 1/2 times its own weight. DO Not use in ponds with Salt. Salt causes zeolite to "dump" ammonia.
